You are not allowed to drink it until you put up your mast.

just one?

I think that Haggie will deserve a pint when she gets a mast up. I'm
actually looking forward to it.

When her boat actually sails, I might have a small glass of champagne.

IMHO, Haggy's restoration is a *real* sailing project. All the regular
posters will be happy to see the boat sail again.

Good for you Donal. Perhaps you can set an example to some here that
feel no honor is lost in not paying off on his bets.

I don't believe that anybody here would not pay off their lost bets. This
ng is a place of honour!!!

Forget it Mooron. He's talking to real sailors who know how to command
their boat. You don't qualify.

What you are missing is windage aft to counteract your bow windage at
low revs and reduced rudder effect.

Besides, your mind is already pretty cramped. There's certainly no
room for anything else.

I don't "command" my boat....... I command admiration and respect and awe
and subservience and loyalty and amazement and fear and compliance and envy
and adulation and applause and attention and reverence....... and all those
other really cool things.

But most of all I command the world to know that you Gaynzy... are a limp
wristed flaming HOMO!

Bwahahahahahahahahahaaaa.....

Silver,

Great advice! Never even thought of it.
How about the riding sail? It does alright at anchor to keep a windward
heading. I'm going to give it a try. Sounds good.
