If I sailed a Beneteau I would stay even closer to land than thirty miles . . .
You, sir, are a brave but foolish man. CN "Donal" wrote in message ... "Thom Stewart" wrote in message ... Good question, Donal, I don't think Nutsy has sailed the south coast of Long Island. About 120 miles. The Sat Phone wasn't activated :^) Reading his posts, do you suppsed his boat done it without him? Any boat he is on, any boat, has a very limited range. Very limited. Even if he uses Pooka Bill to say otherwise. That's my point! Bob's posts suggest that he sails within a 1/2 mile of the marina. I've never sailed more than 30 miles from land. I consider myself to be a coastal sailor. Regards Donal -- |
