Alien is for Sale
The horrible part is that in brokering the boat myself, we could
end up without a boat for half of next season.. What he's saying is things will be normal when it comes to actually sailing. Here's some clues for Loco....The new boat rates around 90-105 on average. She's considered a "classic" racer cruiser, but she's also newer than the Depress 30. I'm sitting hear laughing my ass off how this guy has yearned for over 2 years to have a better boat than mine and now he's going out and getting his ass in debt to pull it off. By the way as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago my Jurassic Depress 30 managed to win her class (PHRF 'B') a few weeks ago in the Lighthouse Classic and oh by the way also beat 2 'A' boats that started 5 minutes ahead of us to the finish line. A C&C 99 and a Shock 35. So your new boats rating means nothing to me...... or my boat. ROFLMAO! .................................................. ......................... .................................................. ................. I'm sitting hear laughing my ass off how this guy has yearned for over 2
years to have a better boat Poor Loco still can't face the truth. A C&C 32 is a nicer boat than a Depressed 30! RB |
Nutsy,
Did you fall in love with an old Johnson? That just might be the right boat for you. Ole Thom |
A C&C 99 or Shock 35 are BOTH FASTER than your boat. Period!
Well they wern't faster on Sunday July 11, 2004 on the Chesapeake. And so is my new boat!!! That's yet to be proven and I doubt if it ever will since you have already stated you don't race. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" "Trains are a winter sport" |

You've been asked to post in what ways in the past with no response. I'll give you all day. I'm going to the boat show. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" "Trains are a winter sport" |

stated you don't race. Tell us, Loco. Boat for boat, is your vessel faster than a C&C 99 or Shock 35? RB |

Oh Booby
This troll is just so obvious. The skill in the fisherman is to use the lightest line and smallest lure. To make the fish think he's winning when the landing net is closing in on him. I'm looking forward to the chance to sail your new boat and get some speed out of her when I next stop in NY -I hope it's not your winter! Cheers Bobsprit wrote: Well, we made our bed and now Alien is for sale!!! Loco's nightmare will begin soon enough. She's a sloop and there's a lot of room below. She draws over 6 feet. RB |

"Bobsprit" wrote in message ... You've been asked to post in what ways in the past with no response. I'll give you all day. Good sailing performance coupled with a Nicer looking interior and larger-better cruiser! Nicer deck and cockpit! Nicer looking! More value and resale! Same description as the Pearson 30. Bwahahhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Regards Donal -- |
Great troll Robert. Remember the follow through is as important as the lead
in. Is your new big going to be big, shiny and nice? Gilligan "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... Well, we made our bed and now Alien is for sale!!! Loco's nightmare will begin soon enough. Hmmm. Would this be so we aren't able to verify your claim on
yachtworld.com? Check the classifieds on the C&C Photoalbum and also on recboatsmarketplace. RB |
No troll. Alien is indeed for sale and we are looking forward to a new and
much nicer vessel.. And not long ago we were told the tub called Allien was the greatest boat ever built. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" "Trains are a winter sport" |
Good sailing performance - not as good as the Express 30.
coupled with a Nicer looking interior - no and larger-better cruiser! - no Nicer deck and cockpit! - no Nicer looking! - no More value and resale! - probably better resale. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" "Trains are a winter sport" |

Both of which combined probably have less than 2% of the market coverage of yachtworld.com. If you really were as financially flush as you imply, Bubbles, you'd pay a broker to advertise the boat and get it sold. Max |
If you really were as financially flush as you imply,
Bubbles, you'd pay a broker to advertise the boat and get it sold.. The Boob has been spending countless hours listing on ebay and advertising on various newsgroups the sale of a $15 shore power cord. I think the wedding video business is down. I don't think the idiot is "financially flush" S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" "Trains are a winter sport" |
And not long ago we were told the tub called Allien was the greatest boat ever
built. Perhaps Loco could show he's not a liar and point to the post where I said that? I seem to remember pointing out on several occasions that the best built boat on the list was Mooron's boat. RB |
larger-better cruiser! - no
Sorry, loco, the C&C 32 has a larger nicer cabin. It's a fact. RB |
Robert is not financially flush at all, but he does live well. His
resourcefulness is quite remarkable. Gilligan "SAIL LOCO" wrote in message ... Larger but not any nicer. Unless you can post what step up features you have
over the Express' interior you loose. Larger is always nicer and I've yet to see one nice pic of a Depress 30 interior...ever! I guess you won't be posting one! Yup...I won. RB |

Larger is always nicer
Hmmm, would you apply that axiom to a NY garbage scow? No, but in good quality sailboats, a bigger interior tends to be more friendly and prefered. The fact that Loco won't even post a pic of his interior sums things up well enough. RB |
Larger is always nicer and I've yet to see one nice pic of a Depress 30
interior...ever! I guess you won't be posting one! Yup...I won. If the Express has a varnished teak interior with 6" cushions, dining table, propane oven, preasure water, sinks in galley and head, chart table, seaberth, and storage under all berths (no tanks) please tell us what your tub has that makes it superior. If you ask me most boats all have the same ****. You ain't won nothin! S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" "Trains are a winter sport" |
The fact that Loco won't even post a pic of his interior sums things up well
enough.. No it doesn't. The difference here is I have photos of my boat sailing. What the hell do I want with interior pictures? S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" "Trains are a winter sport" |

Ohhhhhh, well there you have it, folks. "All the interiors have the same ****." This comes from a fruitcake who professes to know something about boats! RB |
No it doesn't. The difference here is I have photos of my boat sailing. What
the hell do I want with interior pictures? Some of us like the WHOLE boat. We take pictures. There are VERY FEW pics of Depress 30's around at all. I wonder why. RB |
Nutsy,
Are you a sailor or are you an interior decorator? Ah Yes! A wife, Boat in wife's name, new baby, Boat up for sale, no new boat in sight------- can a house out on the Island, maybe Conn., even N.J. be far behind, white picket fence, a Suburban Hospital for Susy's employment, a nice Day Sailor to teach Thomas to sail in a few years;---- Ah, yes! A very familiar story of a beached sailor. A bio of Ole Thom, except I was the Employed. Scout right now, is in my middle life. Trailer sailor, port of call Bristol Borough and Toms River N,J., with a Lightning Swing with it Nutsy, it is just another type of Storm for a beached sailor to weather Ole Thom |

sight------- can a house out on the Island, maybe Conn., even N.J. be far behind, white picket fence, a Suburban Hospital for Susy's employment, a nice Day Sailor to teach Thomas to sail in a few years;---- Well...that sounds okay, but Suzanne wants the big boat 1st and the Condo second. Her idea and fine by me! Ah, yes! A very familiar story of a beached sailor. A bio of Ole Thom, except I was the Employed. Suzanne is not employed, Thom. She's a full time student. The new boat is a bit more than "in sight" as well. Loco is going to **** a pumpkin! RB |
Swing with it Nutsy, it is just another type of Storm for a beached
sailor to weather Sorry, Thom, but we're going to keep sailing. RB |
"Bobsprit" wrote in message ... Swing with it Nutsy, it is just another type of Storm for a beached sailor to weather Sorry, Thom, but we're going to keep sailing. What on earth do you mean by "keep sailing"???? You haven't even started yet!!! Your little 2 hour jaunts with amateur crew, in the protected waters that exist around your marina don't count as "sailing". Let's face it, if you were going out for a real sail - then you would take some proper crew! Your sailing photos are filled with dolly-birds who are nothing more than decoration. You've never posted a photo that showed you doing some real sailing. Regards Donal -- |
Your little 2 hour jaunts with amateur crew, in the protected waters that
exist around your marina don't count as "sailing". Donal also doesn't think lake sailing is real. He must have a low opinion of people who only daysail. It's funny, but I know people who cross the Atlantic every couple of years and do long deliveries. I've never heard them quote distance sailed or time aboard as a factor. They must not be real sailors either! Way to go, Donal. You just joined Loco in the Idiot of the Day award! (Now poor Donal will make some sad effort to claim a "good troll" after exposing himself yet again!) RB |
Your sailing photos are filled with dolly-birds who are
nothing more than decoration. You've never posted a photo that showed you doing some real sailing. Real sailing???? I was out having a blast on a Hobie cat yesterday. I wasn't "really" sailing though! Damn! RB |
