Alien is for Sale

The horrible part is that in brokering the boat myself, we could
end up without a boat for half of next season..

What he's saying is things will be normal when it comes to actually sailing.

Here's some clues for Loco....The new boat rates around 90-105 on average.
She's considered a "classic" racer cruiser, but she's also newer than the
Depress 30.

I'm sitting hear laughing my ass off how this guy has yearned for over 2
years to have a better boat than mine and now he's going out and getting his
ass in debt to pull it off.
By the way as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago my Jurassic Depress 30
managed to win her class (PHRF 'B') a few weeks ago in the Lighthouse Classic
and oh by the way also beat 2 'A' boats that started 5 minutes ahead of us to
the finish line. A C&C 99 and a Shock 35. So your new boats rating means
nothing to me...... or my boat. ROFLMAO!

Poor Loco still can't face the truth. A C&C 32 is a nicer boat than a Depressed
30!

That just might be the right boat for you.

Well they wern't faster on Sunday July 11, 2004 on the Chesapeake.

And so is my new boat!!!

That's yet to be proven and I doubt if it ever will since you have already
stated you don't race.

That depends very much on the sailor(s) on each vessel.

Oh Booby

This troll is just so obvious. The skill in the fisherman is to use the
lightest line and smallest lure. To make the fish think he's winning
when the landing net is closing in on him.

I'm looking forward to the chance to sail your new boat and get some
speed out of her when I next stop in NY -I hope it's not your winter!

Both of which combined probably have less than 2% of the market coverage of

The Boob has been spending countless hours listing on ebay and advertising on
various newsgroups the sale of a $15 shore power cord. I think the wedding

No, but in good quality sailboats, a bigger interior tends to be more friendly

The fact that Loco won't even post a pic of his interior sums things up well

propane oven, preasure water, sinks in galley and head, chart table, seaberth,

makes it superior. If you ask me most boats all have the same ****.

What on earth do you mean by "keep sailing"????

You haven't even started yet!!!

Your little 2 hour jaunts with amateur crew, in the protected waters that
exist around your marina don't count as "sailing".

Let's face it, if you were going out for a real sail - then you would take
some proper crew! Your sailing photos are filled with dolly-birds who are
nothing more than decoration. You've never posted a photo that showed you
doing some real sailing.

Donal also doesn't think lake sailing is real. He must have a low opinion of
people who only daysail. It's funny, but I know people who cross the Atlantic
every couple of years and do long deliveries. I've never heard them quote
distance sailed or time aboard as a factor. They must not be real sailors
either!
