You let your teak go raw on the interior? Don;t you get a lot of oil stains
on your clothing? "Horvath" wrote in message ... On 13 Oct 2004 16:50:09 GMT, (SAIL LOCO) wrote this crap: If the Express has a varnished teak interior with 6" cushions, Only a moron would varnish teak. Pathetic Earthlings! No one can save you now! |
Some of us like the WHOLE boat. We take pictures. There are VERY FEW pics of
Depress 30's around at all. I wonder why.. The owners are out sailing like we were tonight. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" "Trains are a winter sport" |

Hey the original owner paid for that option. I'd rather have oiled teak. That's why when I refinished the cabin sole I oiled it. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" "Trains are a winter sport" |
Ohhhhhh, well there you have it, folks. "All the interiors have the same
****." This comes from a fruitcake who professes to know something about boats! Cute but you still haven't posted what's better about your seventies era interior. I told you I was waiting. I guess bigger is all you could come up with. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" "Trains are a winter sport" |
"Bobsprit" wrote in message ... Your little 2 hour jaunts with amateur crew, in the protected waters that exist around your marina don't count as "sailing". Donal also doesn't think lake sailing is real. He must have a low opinion of people who only daysail. It's funny, but I know people who cross the Atlantic every couple of years and do long deliveries. I've never heard them quote distance sailed or time aboard as a factor. Why would someone who has crossed the Atlantic need to quote distance? They must not be real sailors either! Way to go, Donal. You just joined Loco in the Idiot of the Day award! (Now poor Donal will make some sad effort to claim a "good troll" after exposing himself yet again!) Rubbish!! Two Bobfish don't make a good troll. I'll have to try harder. Regards Donal -- |

Why would someone who has crossed the Atlantic need to quote distance? Exactly. No one but you and Scotty seem concerned with distances sailed. RB |
Still waiting. You ain't won nothin!

I certainly did. My interior is better finished, higher quality, more storage, more room. You could say that a Catalina 25 has the same feature set as either of our boats, but a nicer interior? Don't think so. Everyone's holding their breath waiting to see a pic of your interior that looks as nice as Alien's...here's mine! http://hometown.aol.com/bobsprit/images/int23.jpg Your move, loser!!! Bwahahahaha! RB |
Nutsy,
Not a bad looking interior for a CAVE but rather gloomy for a boat interior. I see you have the lights on. Doesn't help much. Where is Ben Laden hiding?(g) OT |

interior. I see you have the lights on. Yeah, you must hate interiors with wood! Sorry, Tommy, we get nothing but compliments on the warmth of Alien's interior, which has brighter lighting than most new boats...but then you can tell that from a Jpeg, right??? I'd strongly suggest you have a look at the Mac26M interior. It's VERY bright! RB |

Loco, either you're a liar or you have the only nice Depress 30 interior on the market. Over 5 years I've seen these boat's for sale and NONE had a nicely finished interior. Yours us NO DIFFERENT which is why you won't dare post a pic. Case closed. RB |

You closed the case before you stated what's nicer. You ain't won yet. ROFLMAO! It's bigger and that's about it. Do you have thicker cushions? A bigger stove? Better varnish? What the **** makes your interior better? You have never stated anything but bigger. Bottom line is there ain't nothing better about your seventies era tub and you haven't seen but one or two Express 30 photos and never one in person to make a judgement call. Hey idiot, don't you realize that the Express was
a semi-custom boat? Pony was 2 hulls newer than Loco's boat but there were several differences in the interior. Pony's quarter berth was 6" longer than Ringmaster's. The nav stations are different. BTW, you only saw a few of the boats on Yachtworld. Pony sold recently for her asking price listed only for one month in Spinsheet. S. "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... : Not better finished. BTW, you only saw a few of the boats on
Yachtworld. I've seen no fewer than 6 Depress 30's for sale. They all had pretty shoddy looking interiors. Very sparse, very cheap and small. Feel free to post a pic that shows anything CLOSE to the interior of a C&C 32 or even a C&C 29 for that matter. Here's a pic of the 29's nicer interior... http://newimages.yachtworld.com/1/2/8/9/1/1289176_6.jpg RB |
Hey idiot, don't you realize that the Express was
a semi-custom boat? Plenty of C&Cs were ordered with changes like that. Hell, even Catalina will do something like that for a price. Big whoop. Are you now upgrading to a C&C, Loco? RB |

better? You have never stated anything but bigger. We're all still waiting for a pic, Loco. Until then you're just blowing hot air into a crappy interior! Bwahhahahaha! RB |
Looked at the C&C's at the boat show last week.
Liked the 110 a little better that the 99 or 121. The 115 looks interesting. But, no, not going the C&C route now. The J 109 wasn't bad, and the Cape Fear 38 has our interest, but probably won't get either of them. S. The 115 looks interesting.

S. Maybe time for an F Boat/Corsair. There are a few around here and they blow past everything. Owners are near fanatical about the performance. RB |
