if you just doing data, get a usb transfer cable. they're cheap. drag and
drop. I use PC-linq

I've seen him running windows programs on his mac. You can't do that? Not
even Office?

Huh????????? No way. In fact, that's one of the nice things about the
Mac environ. It doesn't lend itself to the viruses that plague PCs.

There is only one way to run Windoz programs on a Mac... with SoftPC
or similar... Microsoft makes a program also.

However, Microsoft makes Office for the Mac environ.

The data is the same on both systems.

She has a USb memory thing on her lap top, don't know what;s on the
Mac. Will have to find out soon.
