Would you have preferred that I refer to your reticence to discuss your own

Much!

Dave,

We weren't talking about "Clinton"`but accepting a "Rhodes Grant to
Oxford Univ." may have been dodging the draft but to me makes a "Helluva
better reason than not following a direct military order to serve on a
Political Campaign, as Bush did.

And, if you read the book, you'll understand why he said he tried mj
but didn't inhale.

Dave,

As I said, we weren't talking about Clinton and I never tried to say he
didn't dodge the draft. You push him into the discussion!! FORGET
CLINTON.

Our discussion was the Wartime comparison of KERRY & BUSH!!

I say it again, Kerry was a Hero and Bush was a Draft Dodger

Your opinion. I say Kerry was a coward, a poor officer, and a liar, not to
mention his treasonous activities following his return to the States. While
Bush may not have been an exemplary soldier, he did serve, he was a fine
pilot, and he did accumulate the necessary points on his Guard record to
warrant an honorable discharge.

Or, he really wanted to go to Oxford?? Nah.... I know no red-blooded
American would
want to have an experience like that.

True. What you said was: "accepting a 'Rhodes Grant to
Oxford Univ.' may have been dodging the draft." That was a complete
misrepresentation of his draft-dodging manipulations.

According to whom? Not according to the people who were on the boat
with him. Not according to the guy he fished out of the water.

May not have been an exemplary soldier??? He disobeyed a direct order
and failed to show up for his physical. He's never said why.

Kerry specifically said why he wanted out of the military.

Who's the liar??

Especially according to the people on the boat with him.

Not according to the guy he fished out of the water.

After returning from cowardly running away up river after another PCF struck
a mine, he returned and fished the guy outta the water.

May not have been an exemplary soldier??? He disobeyed a direct order
and failed to show up for his physical. He's never said why.

Kerry. He lied about purported "atrocities" committed by his fellow
swifties in Vietnam. When pressed to give even one example of such
atrocities, he wasn't able to give one, apart from his claim that the
free-fire zones constituted an "atrocity." He lied about quitting the VVAW
in the summer of 71, when he clearly continued as a spokesman for them
through '72. He lied about not having met with the fraudulent leader of the
VVAW, Al Hubbard, after April 71, when FBI surveillance records clearly show
he was with Hubbard at several meetings after that and into 72. He lied
about throwing his medals away, even though they showed up framed and
displayed on his office wall many years later. Shall I continue?
