I have a cold, flu, three overdue reports, looming field work at
Roxby DOwns, one feral client, a radiation issue just appeared, people clamouring at my email wanting to shunt more work at us...'tis a long way from the vines, thank God katysails wrote: What in the heck are you doing up at this time of the morning (for you....)????? I thought Scotty and I were the only morning people on this ng..... "Flying Tadpole" wrote in message ... Lady Pilot wrote: "Nav" wrote: Belated congratulations! I hope you will always be a strong kind father with unlimited forgiveness behind a sharp rebuke. I wish you and your family all happiness and security. MC (Just got back from a cruise). Well, I'm shocked! Is this the *real* Nav? LP Madam Vinyl, as with most cases of mental illness in families, the long-time members of this newsgroup skirt the issue. They're trying to be kind, but it's hindering the rehabilitation process, not helping. For the harsh reality is that Nav has been but a shadow of himself since his true protagonist, Capt Neal, cast his hat in the ring and sailed away. We've all watched, sadly, as Nav has flailed about, desperately searching for an opponent worthy of his skills, and in the end been reduced to arguing engineering inconsequentialities with DOug King. That once splendid, even if misguided, intellect with its amazing cosmic grasp has atrophied away, its dissolution mirrored by the steady truncation and increasing meaningless of his tag. Nowhere is his decay, his failure to cope with reality, more apparent than in his newfound preference for sailing rather than continuing the productive life as a 24-hour watcher and contributor to this newsgroup. This is escapism of the highest order. Nav needs help, but we are all powerless to offer any, until he himself realises and asks for it. -- Flying Tadpole ------------------------- Learn what lies below the waves of cyberspace! http://music.download.com/internetopera http://www.soundclick.com/flyingtadpole -- Flying Tadpole ------------------------- Learn what lies below the waves of cyberspace! http://music.download.com/internetopera http://www.soundclick.com/flyingtadpole |

How fortunate for her that there are IVF programs these days. I hope
she enjoys having a baby that weighs less than 150 kg for a change. PDW (Bobsprit) wrote in message ... Thomas R. Brody was born last night, seven and a half pounds and very healthy. We were aboard Alien grilling up some chicken when Suzanne said she felt a few contractions. There was a lot of wake action from passing boats and perhaps this was a factor....probably not. We went home and by 10:00 pm she was ready to go to the hospital. All went well though is was pretty surreal. He's certainly going to be a good sailor! I'll post a pic in a few days. Be back soon!
