The hospital administrators I worked for would understand taking

off
for a
boat mission before they would let an employee go for a sick

kid.

Now *that* is a real concern. It's worse that the boat is a 3

hour
drive
away. The staff at our marina is very good, which helps.

Ya know...I just can't see my employers understanding taking

off
to save
my
boat....they would probably think I was ready for

commitment....I
suppose
when the whole rest of the area is under siege, employers
understand...When
I still had the horses a thunderstorm popped up with tornado

warnings and
heavy lightning warnings...I ran home to put the horses in,

since
two of
them were shod (and a horse down the street had been killed

the
year
before
by being struck...) They thought I was nuts....oh well...

Why contract it out? I think you should follow her yourself. Take notes,
too.
