Default Don't Buy Gas Today

Today is "Don't Buy Gas Day" in the US, to protest the phoney high prices.

I'm driving a Prius today!

And what will "Don't Buy Gas Day" accomplish? If you don't buy it today,
you'll buy it tomorrow.

Same people who promote this type of politically correct silliness wouldn't
ever think of raking public transportation, car pooling, or just not going
somewhere....and your average gas station owner does not make a very big
profit on the gas...he makes his profit on selling cappuccino, coffee, and
candy bars....so who gets hurt the most? Small business...the guy down the
block....Why don't people have the ability to think these things through all
the way?

Won't do squat. A better idea is also floating around .... everyone
stop buying gas from Exxon/Mobil, period (not just one day,..... period)
This too has problems. You need to identify any " Cheapo" gas dealers
who are getting their gas from Exxon/Mobil and boycott them also ....
course, this has problems also ...Shell, Sunoco, Texaco, etc. start
running out of gas, they'll just go to Exxon/Mobil and buy their excess
and sell it under their own names (and find a plausible excuse to
further raise the prices due to "middleman" charges..... Course, we
could get our Congressmen and Senators to pass some sort of Bill
.......ROFLMAO..........

It will make all those participating in it feel incredibly self-righteous.
