My boat was pulled this week. She sits on a custom made steel cradle. Is there any merit to a seperate boat stand underneath the engine area? Not if the engine beds are at all sound. Unless the hull looks distorted or saggy in that area, and you noticed that accelerating, decelerating, and steering were kind of 'mushy' under power, then the hull structure is plenty rigid to hold the weight of the engine. It's a good thought though. DSK |
