Default Backstay tension

How come the adjustable backstay is never adjusted on Boobys boat? It
looks quite tight -is he worried about the cracks between the keel and
hull? If he lets it out won't the silicone he repaired it with get
squeezed out?

What effect does adjusting the backstay have when the motors running anyway?

Cheers MC

It gets the bow up out of the water.

Poor MC! He's trying SOOOO hard and he keeps getting slapped.
Note the various trim changes in the backstay-look at distance above top of
ladder.

Playing with it does not count. What's it for?

After he gets slapped, MC is forced to use the old "I was only fishing" rap!
Sorry, MC! You fell into your own pan!

1st he says I don't adjust it. Now he sees that I do.
I adjust it depending on who's behind the wheel. Some of the Alien girls have
long hair and it catches.

ROFLOL......... So that's how you decide proper backstay tension. What happens
if there's a long haired runaway driving on a light air day?

Well that's perfect. We ease it, which will keep it correct for her hair as
well!

Nope. I have a sure fire lure for you. Any post about your pathetic
sailing abilities guarantees a reply from you. Your trouble is you have
no idea that everyone here is jerking your chain while you think you are
trolling them!

As you say, Bwhahahahahahha
