I frankly shocked that you can be so ugly and unjust. With no facts you
act as judge jury and executioner -perhaps you want to punish me for disparaging comments on your new sails? Pathetic. ![]() It would seem to me it is up to you to prove me wrong. So far there has been precious little evidence coming from you that I was wrong. Why, you won't even put a name to this horrible and painful disease you say your kitten suffered from. The conclusions I draw come from the words you wrote. Try writing something more informative and I might consider apologizing for being too harsh on you. I attacked you more out of a desire to point out pets are a very great responsiblilty not to be assumed lightly. They represent an obligation not to be dismissed easily. I felt you were an example of rather callous behavior regarding pets that is epidemic these days. I suppose it's useless to expect even one person to agree with me these days but I have to try at least. S.Simon "The_navigator©" wrote in message ... As someone who has been involved with a particular rescue organization
for a particular breed of dog, I have to agree with Neal's basic premise that too many people consider pets to be some form of disposable toy, rather than a long term responsibility. However, having also been involved with the necessity of putting an animal "down" more than once, with the attendant worry that it was the right thing to do at the right time, I did not get the sense that the "Navigator" took his decision lightly, nor does he need to explain his reasons to those of us not there and/or familiar with the situation that existed, at the time ..... nuff said. otn Simple Simon wrote: It would seem to me it is up to you to prove me wrong.
