if you knew how to read a radar screen.... while Suzanne is "learning basic
navigation"... especially at night... most certainly in unfamiliar waters
and most definitely in conjunction with a chart.

Why? Few boats on the LIS even bother with radar. We certainly didn't need it
to make a perfectly safe entry.
Mooron, with charts and compass you can go anywhere. You don't "need"
radar...or at least we don't. It came with the boat.

Bob... it's more than obvious that *You* need all the help you can possibly
get for anything approaching navigation.

... but heh.. live in ignorance... it's done so well to keep you below
