Check this radio out!!! It's a Sonar Radio Model FM-1805 and it's built like a
tank. I was told (don't hold me to this) that this radio was used on a Grand
Banks 42 owned by a mobster who's in jail for life. The Grand Banks got new
electronics before it was sold off by his wife and this wonderful old beauty is
part of her original gear. It seems to have all the channels, set up in banks
of 8. You can see all the controls and features. The squelch control is a bit
stiff. Other than that she transmits fine and looks good. It has the brightest
LED readout I've ever seen. Will you like this radio? Fuhgetabout it! Does
Darth Vader wear black socks?
