The Final Blow
How Lame is your Game?
How Low can you Go?
It's the Bobsprit Limbo!

offshore
| and watch the chart carefully, as there are outlying rocks and shoals.
Those must be the shoals and rocks clearly indicated on the chart and
referenced by your vessel's GPS and Radar location showing you in detail how
close you are? Whatever do you do when you encounter a moving hazard... like
another vessel??? Panic and pull doughnuts???
The
| entrance is narrow and there is apt to be a strong tidal current in or
out.
Geez... it must be really narrow if you had to take "several passes" just to
find it!!! ?? So only really skinny boats get in to Port Jefferson eh? Must
also be some tidal surge to restrict access!!! Guess that's what helped keep
you ...offshore!!!??
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
An
| experienced cruising man warns that:
| Sometimes a really dangerous sea makes up outside and between the jetties
on
| the ebb tide. Entering is possible at all times, providing some care is
taken.
| Another experienced cruiser feels this is too strong a statement. Suffice
it to
| say, treat it with respect."
Oh this is way too funny.... a 'sea' builds up!!!! Where are you Bob??...
offshore? Between two jetties... which of course must be lit! Radar! GPS!...
claims to have a chart! Can't give the distance between the "jetties"..
doesn't have a clue how far out the foul ground is! Relies on a Cruising
Guide and quotes it for navigational information because he can't figure it
out himself!!!
|
| Seems like we practiced safe navigational practice by observing this info.
| Tada!!!! So, as you can see, Billy Jane knows nada! Mooron hitched his tow
rope
| to the wrong star and Donal got dragged down by the undertow!
Seems like you didn't have a clue as to what you were doing and luckily
enough had sufficient electronic back-up to assist in helping you find a
well lit channel!! I sure wish I had a scan of this "chart" you were using!
Ha Ha Ha Ha
| You're welcome!!! Bwahahahahahahahahahahaaha!!
Thank You once again for proving my point that you don't have a clue about
navigation or sailing.... I could have done that drunk... without a GPS!
