Sorry, Booby, they don't wait until you receive your fictitious
papers before they put you into their database.

The CG database won't include updates UNTIL papers are issued. It's impossible,
since they are sent out within a day or two of being filed.
I suggest you call the CG and you can confirm this. I was also told that the
online database is not up to date.

If you are looking for a way to raise the funds to document the boat,
perhaps a bake sale might work. $84, more or less, is not out of
reach if those girls can bake.

Bobsprit is an easy slapdown. He's so transparent it's almost sickening.

If he comes up with a ,"I just registered it" type of argument, well then
he's admittedly been sailing an unregistered, undocumented vessel. The state
of NY will impound it. How much do you think it will go for at auction?

The on line database is only updated quarterly. Any documentation
changes between April 15 and July 15 will not be in the online database
until July 16.
