Default RNZ Spectrum - Soren Larsen - Dec 27 2009

Spectrum takes us on a voyage off the New Zealand coast aboard the
nineteenth century rigged tall ship Soren Larsen, a training ship
working out of Auckland. Robin Falvey was lucky enough to get a job as
a deckhand aboard a nineteenth century rigged sail-training ship
working out of Auckland.

Tall ship Soren Larsen is a grand old lady of the sea – all well
scrubbed decks, gleaming brass and elegant square sails. She works the
coast of Northern New Zealand during the summer months and then after
her annual refit at Whangerai, heads out into the Pacific.

Join Robin Falvey, the crew and the trainees as they slip their
moorings and head out onto the blue on the good ship Soren Larsen.

Produced by Robin Falvey for Radio New Zealand National

It is possble to capture the audio with Audacity.

Enjoy - Chris B.
