My problems with support "offshored" to India has to do with the fact that those jobs should be held by Americans, that the majority of tech support personnel I have encountered on the phone in India have not received enough training to be helpful, that the phone connections typically are "over the internet and lousy" and that many of the personnel have a lousy command of English. It has nothing to do with race. |
