I rarely drive long distances in a car...as, for example, from Maryland to Florida. I have better things to do with my time than waste two days on the interstate. Ah, but with a BMW you could make that trip in about 16 hours. Eisboch I've made it in 12. Bull****. DC to Jacksonville is about 700 miles. You could probably do that in 12 hours without breaking the speed limit. From where I live in Maryland to the Florida line is about 12 hours if we are not nailed by heavy traffic or construction on I-95. We don't do that anymore, though. We usually stop in the Carolinas somewhere. It's a dismal drive no matter how you do it, though. One of the major bottlenecks is south of NYC. It can take hours to go a few miles there at times.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - If you were in Maryland, you'd go to NYC to get to the Florida line????? |
