Default Supreme Court Gives Gore’s Nobel to Bush

Supreme Court Gives Gore’s Nobel to Bush
Stunning Reversal for Former Veep

Just days after former Vice President Al Gore received the Nobel Peace
Prize for his efforts on global warming, the United States Supreme Court
handed Mr. Gore a stunning reversal, stripping him of his Nobel and
awarding it to President George W. Bush instead.

For Mr. Gore, who basked in the adulation of the Nobel committee and the
world, the high court’s decision to give his prize to President Bush was
a cruel twist of fate, to say the least.

But in a 5-4 decision, the justices made it clear that they had taken
the unprecedented step of stripping Mr. Gore of his Nobel because
President Bush deserved it more.

“It is true that Al Gore has done a lot of talking about global
warming,” wrote Justice Antonin Scalia, writing for the majority. “But
President Bush has actually helped create global warming.”

Even as Mr. Gore was being stripped of his Nobel, he received strong
words of support from Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton,
who said that the former vice president’s Nobel win “shows that he is
devoting his life to the right thing and should definitely stay the course.”

In an interview with reporters in Iowa, Sen. Clinton said that “Al Gore
should remain dedicated to the cause of global climate change, at least
through November of 2008.”

Sen. Clinton suggested that Mr. Gore could further research the source
of global warming by immediately boarding a rocket ship to the sun.

Wow, are you still carrying those sour grapes?

Not at all...look at all the payback this country has received because
the Supreme Court handed the election to Bush...9/11, an endless war in
Iraq, loss of prestige for the United States, debt out the kazoo, the
Katrina aftermath, open ports, dangerous imports from China with a
weakened apparatus to check them, loss of civil liberties, death of
habeas corpus...yep, we've done with the Republican criminals.

How long before those sour grapes become too smelly to carry?

Every statement in that paragraph of mind is absolutely true. These are
the high water marks of the Bush administration.

He-he-he.........those sour grapes must be pretty stinky by now.....you have
carried them for too many years. :-)

Psst.............the surge is working, the Dow is at record highs,
unemployment is down, troops continue to reenlist, no terrorist attacks on
US soil.....

Yeah, the sky is falling..........eh? ;-)

If the surge is "working" in limited areas, it is because two million
Iraqi Sunnis have left the country in order to avoid being murdered by
the Sh'ites who run the place. The Dow is not relevant, and the sorts of
jobs being added to the US economy are, for the most part, crap jobs.

Speaking of absolute crap, which of the GOP frontrunners will be getting
your vote?

Sorry Harry but who I choose to vote for is none of your business. Besides,
the election is over a year away.

But I can tell you it will not be Hillary, Obama, Edwards or any of the
other socialists on the left.- Hide quoted text -

What to hell are you blabbering about? If you have any tiny little bit
of information that *I* have pot plants, I suggest you go to the
proper authorities. Not only is it illegal to withhold evidence, it's
also stupid.
