Anybody ever see one, or walk on one? Thoughts? http://www.versadock.com/ --Vic I see plenty of similar systems used by property owners along the Vermilion River, especially for small boat and jet skiis. I do not know if one system is better than the other..........although the specs on the product (wall thickness, type of plastic, QC) and customer reviews may. Does that river freeze? Supposedly you can leave this type dock in place. My grandfolks has a small wood pier on a lake and we had to remove the planking in the winter, and the pilings had to replaced every 10 years or so. I like that this floating dock puts you close to the water. Easier to land fish, and not so far to fall if you take a tumble. --Vic |
