Hey...if you want a boating forum here, go ahead and make it one. But
that would mean no posts about motorcycles, old cars, guitars,
grandkids, golf, campers, and the good old days in uniform, right?

Right?

You are in absolutely no position to be delivering ultimatums. You are
as OT as everyone else .... perhaps even more so.
Many of us have put up with your years and years of political rants,
posts about guns, unions, septic systems, house remodeling, etc., etc.,
etc.

But most of us do *NOT* purposely start threads and include crossposts
to other, non-related NGs.

Eisboch

I see. Your sins are ok, but mine are not ok.

Yup.

Yup yourself. I didn't say or imply anything of the sort. Try to stay
focused.

Eisboch

I am focused, probably more focused than you are.

You want a "boating" forum, then go ahead and make it one. Recruit the
Reggie slime and get them to behave, to stop slamming everyone, and to
post on-topic.

Go ahead...I'll be glad to see it happen. Really. You're a bright guy,
hell, you went to Amity Regional. Let's see some of that old Woodbridge
leadership.

*You* are *offended* by my cross posting...I get it.

How about those of us who are offended by the snarkiness of Reggie et
al, and the endless off-topic discussions of non-boating topics. Does
that matter to you? Do you ever complain about that?

I can stop what offends you, but you sure as hell cannot get the snarks
to behave here, can you?

It isn't. It's an open forum. I don't read "british," "vietnam,"

BS. You are starting new threads and deliberately crossposting to
numerous groups. It seems like if your only objective is to **** people
off.

Christianity/religion/politics.

So If this is a truly open forum, then, I could cross ost them to
here,a nd also to some of your favorite sites as well.

I used to read a couple of religion based newsgroups. Hysterical stuff,
a lot of it.

Hysterical to you, pretty damn important to others.
Another example of your low blow, snarky, self-centered BS, directed to a
decent guy like Tim, this time.

Get help Harry.

I'm impressed by Christians who follow the teachings attributed to Jesus.
Most of the "institutionalization" of Jesus that followed is so much b.s.,
and much of that is used to force conformance to beliefs Jesus never
espoused.

There's no doubt in my mind that were he alive today, Jesus would be
revolutionary liberal.

?????????????

What the hell has that got to do with the previous posts in this thread?
You were mocking the interests of someone else, then, out of the blue, come
back with what impresses *you*.

Nobody cares what you are impressed with. Really. Nobody cares.

Eisboch

No, I wasn't. I didn't say what I found hysterical in "christian"
newsgroups in that first response. Then I amplified my thoughts in the
second response. You just came up with the wrong conclusion based upon
incomplete information, a not uncommon happening here, eh?

I don't know why I am bothering, but ...... nice try.

The thread was about crossposting.
Tim, trying to make a point, offered the hypothetical of crossposting from
one or more of the religious groups he frequents as an example, since *you*
have determined that rec.boats needs "new blood", in an attempt to justify
your purposeful crossposts.

It wasn't about what impresses you in religion.

That's my conclusion.

Check out Wally's latest posts...he's one of the many who add so much
boating interest to this newsgroup.

I saw it. I don't condone it.

But, he is responding to .... *you*.

Ever question why?

Why he uses foul language and does nothing but post insults to members
here?

If so........why?

That's about all DK does here, and Herring, and Reggie. There's
certainly nothing of interest related to boating from any of them.
