I agree. As a sportscaster he was ok. He was ok for a while also when

first started at MSNBC, but now, with his $500 haircuts, phony grey

(has turned grey in the last 3-4 months) and unabashed ultra liberal
journalism, he has become sickening. I can't believe the executives at
MSNBC haven't canned him.

Just curious - why do you torture yourself with this drivel?

Good question.

Think I'll start a limo service or sumptin'

If you need a good driver with only a few tickets for excessive speed
(I mean really - doesn't everybody drive 120 in a 65 zone?), two for
street racing (both dismissed fortunately) and a penchant for drag
racing everything and anything, I'm your guy. :)- Hide quoted text -

I got a limo drivers licence many lifetimes ago...

In MA, no special license is required for vehicles with less than a 15
passenger capacity. Regular driver's license in good standing is all you
need. I was really surprised at that, given the fact that everything
else in the world is regulated here. I guess they just haven't got around
to changing the requirements.

There are some exceptions. For example, if you transport kids to school
on a regular schedule, you need a special license. However, you *can*
transport them if it's not on a regular, repeated schedule. You also
need special permits to go into Boston, but I have no desire to do airport
runs.

Obviously though, you have to register the limo with Livery tags and have
additional insurance to cover the passengers.
That's what my insurance company is looking into right now. If the
insurance is ridiculously expensive, I'll forget the whole idea and just
use the limo for personal, family, friends, not-for-hire use.

mmm I've carried a chauffeurs endorsement on my drivers license (along with
a motorcycle endorsement) for the last 40 years.
I've owned two motorcycles and drove a number of loaners, but never did get
to chauffeur.
