If you are not familiar with it, the North River has serious currents during peak tide changes and the inlet from the ocean is shallow on both sides of the channel. On this particular day, some big waves were building and breaking right at the inlet and I, like an idiot, tried to ride them out trying to get out to the ocean. Eisboch |
