Can it be rowed? http://www.sevylor.com/dyn_prod.php?....x=68&view.y=8 I'm looking for a tender I can use on my 24' sailboat for mostly sheltered waters. None of the soft bottom inflatables row very well - too much friction, not enough carry. You really need a RIB or something else with a rigid bottom to row decently. That presents a stowage problem of course unless you are prepared to tow it every where. The other issue is durability. You really need an inflatable made of hyplon fabric if you want it to last more than a few years. Achilles makes a soft bottom inflatable with a small motor mount which might meet your requirements if you need to roll it up. http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|215570|216319|295565&id=908932 or http://tinyurl.com/5rlbzk |
