Stuck trim tab
Hi, quick trim tab question. For the most part my tabs work great. My
problem is my starboard tab is a bit "off". When I retract them both the starboard does not go all the way up. It has about an inch further to travel and when I put them both down the starboard goes about an inch further than the port. So they seem to travel the same distance but from different starting points. Needless to say in the full bow up position this leave my port bow down a little. Fluid level is good, pump is strong. My first thought would be to pull the hose and "bleed" it out and try to manually lift it all the way up then reassemble. Anyone ever have anything like this? These are old tabs and I could not give you the make or model, they are the originals on a 92 Sea Ray 240 CC. Thanks |
