Weekend plans!

On Monday we will put in just north of Reagan National Airport and cruise up the Potomac up to the new (to me) riverside shops and restaurants in Georgetown for brunch. Then we'll do some sightseeing back down the Potomac and up the Anacostia River to see if the cleanup has actually done any good. It's always interesting to see what boats are tied up at the Washington Navy Yards. It's been at least twenty years since we've done the DC sightseeing bit by boat, so I'm looking forward to it. And you...? Don't forget to file a float plan and bring your EPIRB. |
