Until you get caught in the curl and it breaks down on you, or you go
flying off the front edge into the trough. If you haven't done so
already, go read the "Perfect Storm", the book not the movie. There
is almost an entire chapter devoted to all of the ways you can sink a
boat in a storm.
I reckon a smiley face would have been appropriate after my comment. Who
knows, there's liable to be some here who may try it! :)

Nice try at a recovery. Perhaps you should occupy yourself, as you have,
by sending snotty emails and private messages to those you don't like,
because it is obvious you know nothing about boats.

Have you figured out that your new outboard uses four cycle oil, not
high tech two cycle oil? :)- Hide quoted text -

Have you figures out that no one at all cares about your input here.
If he did not know, that's why he asked.. If he knew everything
already, he would already be over there with the backpatters and
blowhards, exchanging the same old information on lights, and how to
pee off a dock

I'll bet you pee on the dock. :)

I sure hope Harry and Hertvick don't come back here. The place was
nice and peaceful without their lies, childish name calling and third
grade insults.

They're already back. Can't you smell em? I just took a look over at Chuck's
place. Things are pretty dull over there right now. The babies haven't been
posting much over there lately. Chuck's rule book must be quelling their
enthusiasm. I think they feel this place is more their element. Let's not
make them feel welcome.

Uh uh! This place in in serious need of a good spring cleaning.
No one here seems capable of completing that task...as the majority seem to
be the polluters.

The criminal record maybe?

In those days, gays were being turned away and some were granted
conscientious objector status if they presented a convincing case. Otherwise
it was pretty difficult to escape the draft unless you enlisted. Criminals
were offered military service in lieu of sentences. So where does that leave
Harry?
Happy Memorial Day, by the way.

Where did that leave Harry?

Harry had a civilian job that exempted him from the draft.

As I said, I wasn't stupid enough to allow myself to get drafted.

But...you were.

He was probably too busy attending his dad's fireboat welcome in NYC.
Oh, wait, that was another one of his lies.....

Don't stand 'downwind' of him. He earned his nickname honestly.
