My best to her for sure! You're right, no one should have to go thru that.
My cousin has (had...fingers crossed) a brain tumor, and just finished his
second round of chemo... 12 years young. Real tough going.

"You are right," said the other boater as he opened a cooler and

the rest of our lives.

The first boater took the bottle and, after a big swig, handed it back
to the other boater who in turn quickly threw it into the river.

More than a little surprised the first boater exclaimed " You didn't
take a drink!?"

"Naw", said the other boater "I think I'll just wait for the Coast
Guard to show up."

ooooooooooooooooooh.

took a little while, but I got it.

thanks for asking, man. so far so good. she has a swollen lymph node
on the side of her neck and I don't know if she's being a bit overly
optimistic, but she thought the swelling in it was going down. Hope
so. She goes back for her second round of "keeeemo" i think next
Monday.

Nobody shoulld ever have to put up with this. But Like I told johnH,
Even though it may be really dim sometimes, we're still looking for
the light at the end of the tunnel.

thanks again for asking.

Tim

My daughter's lymph nodes, at least some of them, were removed. Have they
given any thought to doing that for your wife, or are they going the pure
chemo therapy approach.

Either or both just plain suck!

Well, John. They took out the one that was now a big lump on her
thyroid, and have opted to not do any further surgery seeing that they
haven't detected any more infection in the lower body. just one up on
the side of her throat, which is good, so they're working whith
chemical all the way and close examination. i know treatments are
different but she's going to have 3 bouts of chem 21 days apart, then
comes the radiation. *UGH!* But the docs think this will do it.

We'll find out.

THANKS!

Keep a positive attitude. Stay away from people with negative attitudes.
My mother was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma 11 years ago and
went the chemical route with with some surgery to remove her pancreas.

Remake of an old joke for the water....
originally was two cars and a priest with sacramental wine....
