Anytime.. I have not picked up a sander yet. I am feeling better every
day. Still, fishin' I can do that. It's trout season here now, maybe
some of those good crappie too.

I am surprised you can't hear me from there. I have a monster amp,
It's a Peavey 210 Watt with 2 12" Scorpion speakers in the cab.. When
I crank it up it is actually too loud as to be uncomfortable,
literally shakes the frekin' neighborhood... I play in my livingroom,
it is just waaaaaay too much, that's why I am selling it. Not to wory
however I plan on replacing it with it with one of these:

A nice 30 watts, beautiful warm sound. The model I am looking at is
the same head with a seperate matching cab. Very old school look, I
love the beige color. really looks nice with my guitar too. I have
played it with a Tele for a while at the reatailer, it is a beautiful
warm amp. I can't wait to hear it at home. It's also getting me the
opportunity to play a lot of guitars.

I've got a Peavey hooked up to my Strat! My basement is a daylight
basement in back, and that's my bar/brewery/pool room/sound studio/
party room/etc. I've got alot of percussion stuff along with guitars
and such. We have a lot of fun and sometimes some nice, albeit strange
sounds come from there! One of my amps is an old, old Heathkit that
has a great sound.

Well, I have an assortment of bass gear and amplification. For a
practice amp I use a 100w Fender Sidekick with a 100w head and a 1x15
open cab. Not the greatest amp in the world, but good enough for
practice. At church I play though an old (1971) Kustom 150 roll-pleat
head with matching 2x12 cab. Pretty interesting. For a nominal gig, I
use a 400w SWR 4004 "Working Man" head with an assortment of speakers,
mainly a Peavey 2x15 Black Widow Cab, or a Peavey 1x15 "Sub Compact"
or both, depending on the situation. If heavier is needed I can always
drag out the Ampeg GS Punisher SVT amp and matching cab, but I'd
rather not because there were only about 40 made and it's highly
collectable. If i need more yet, which is rare and usually outdoors,
I can use a Peavey 1.3 (1200w) power head, and use a couple Peavey SP2-
ti's (1x15 b.w.cabs w/tweeter horns). They're basicly for large PA
use, but they handle 650w ea. on 4 ohms, which is about right.

Most of this stuff was purchased used.Like my boats and cars, i can't
see buying brand new when there's plenty of good used gear floating
around and great prices.

I like old gear! We have a place here that deals in only quality used
gear. I was rummaging around the place one day and actually came upon
an old Vocoder!
