Well if you want to look on the positive side, as least it is not as obnoxious as "Love Bugs". I was in Orlando when they swarmed and that was nasty. They may soon be coming to a neighborhood near you. Apparently, they are an invasive species from Central America, and are working their way north along the coast. I've been fortunate never to have had a problem driving through them, but I do remember a time I was sitting outside on a lawn. Literally, one minute there was nothing, 5 minutes later they were everywhere, coming out from the lawn. It was like someone had thrown a switch. They have an incredible sense of timing. |
