Anyone who has lived through a Georgia Pine Pollen outburst, knows what
I am talking about, for those who haven't, imagine someone throwing
yellow stain all over everything.

The worst part is you can actually see the trees burst in a large cloud
of pine tree sperm ( I meant to say pollen) when they orgasm (I meant to
say release) the pollen.

Thursday the pollen count in the area was above 1000, and that's a
freakin' lot! Rain yesterday and today is doing good things for the
pollen and the lake. I was going to uncover my pool today, though. The
cover looks nice though with it's 6 inches of pollen mud !!

I don't cover my pool so that becomes sludge in the filter- Hide quoted text -

Every fall I ponder whether or not to cover my pool. The only thing
that keeps me covering it is the fall leaves.
