Thats good. Then you won't mind me speculating on why you were a draft
dodger.
I don't believe that you opted out for religious or humanitarian reasons.
Otherwise you might have sought conciensous objector status.
You say you are as healthy as a horses ass, so that rules out medical
status.
Mentally impaired. That's a possibility. But you did obtain permission to
carry concealed weapons, so we'll have to rule that reason out too.
And we can, I think, rule out convicted felon because of the weapons
permit.
So then what in your history would cause the draft board to graciously
drop
you from their list.

Lots of people who were eligible in the Viet Nam era had high draft
lottery numbers and simply weren't called up. DUH!

If that were the case, wouldn't he have said so?
Harry asserts that his name was "removed from the list".

Not that I am a fan of harry's, but I don't see why Harry owes you or
anybody else an explanation.

Right you are.

He once told me that he had a college deferment and that kept him off
the list for that time. That was the case with a lot of people at the
time, including my district manager. And, you know what? I don't blame
them one damn bit!! I would have avoided that war as quickly as
anyone. Our Idiot-in-Chief took us into one of the worst wars
imaginable and the expected the youth of the country to go fight it.
And for what?? There was no winner, only a lot of losers.....

Yep...I was II-S for a while. But then I graduated, and my draft status
changed to I-A. But then...fate intervened. I certainly never "dodged"
the draft.

Harry,
Did you go into your "fate intervention" straight out of college?

Harry, did you not earlier say that only the stupid got drafted?

Would this not imply that you exercised some sort of 'gifted intelligence'
to keep from getting drafted?

Do you see how your lies and silly comments cause people to question
everything you say?

Dear Dumb John:

You got drafted, right? Your question, therefore, is asked and answered.

He was deferred, reclassified 1A,dropped off the list, and blessed by a twist
of fate. Seems like he went to a lot of trouble to stay home with the girls.
And now he finally declares that he is not a draft dodger. I guess we should
believe him. Eh. Harry wouldn't lie, would he?
