I am getting this picture kind of like a Mel Brooks character sitting
there dressed like a german dictator, listening to Motzart, waving a
pistol gently to the music, inadvertantly pulling the trigger every
once in a while, down goes the loud parrot, out goes the photo of
mother in law... I am having a good little laugh here, wish you could
all see it...;)

Not at all; you're not a criminal.

But for anyone who is, and who wants to try a bit of B&E or home
invasion, I have a 12-gauge Beretta semi-automatic shotgun loaded and
ready for home defense. Since I don't hunt, I've removed the plug from
the magazine tube and the shotgun now holds six shells instead of the
hunting legal three. For backup, I have a SIG X-FIVE loaded with 19
rounds of 124 grain Speer Gold Dots in the mag and one in the pipe, and
my wife has our Ruger semi-auto target pistol "racked and ready." Either
Friday or Monday, as soon as the waiting period is over, I'll be picking
up my new pair of Ruger Vaqueros.

Despite my "liberal-ality," I am a damned good shot.

Our local sheriff and county prosecutors are not very interested in
going after residents who use lethal force to ward off criminals who
attempt latenight break-ins or home invasions.

Wow, and this is the guy that thought handguns should be illegal. I
don't own any guns, and have never felt unsafe. I wonder what Harry is
doing that he is creating his own little armory.
