Today Nikon Capture NX arrived. Soon I will install it. Then I'll need your
phone number. Or, maybe I'll figure it out. -- John H |

If you're not shooting with a D300 or D3, I think you're better staying with version 1.2 rather than the newer 1.3, which adds a couple of features that take advantage of the new camera's abilities. I think $25 well spent would be to download Jason Odell's eBook. It will help get you up to speed and become very proficient in short order. http://www.luminescentphoto.com/capturenx.html I'm available for any assistance, as well. RG |

![]() There's no downside with 1.3. Actually, there is. It's well documented. Many, including myself, have reverted back to 1.2 after using 1.3. |

Yes, I've read the endless threads on "Nikonians," too. For me, 1.3 is
working fine. You also seem to have no problems with Vista, while (a great) many others do. I guess it must be user error? --Mike "HK" wrote in message . .. RG wrote: There's no downside with 1.3. I greatly appreciate it. I'll load it tomorrow, when I've got a whole day free to mess with it. I can't tell what version it is from the box, the manuals, or the CD. -- John H |
