Oh...forgot to mention that from time to time I swap hardware in and out
to other boxes. Thus, the ATI card I orginally had in this machine is
enjoying a second life. I think this is the machine in which I updated
the CPU, too.

Do you think 900 GB is enough storage!

Hell, you could put pictures of each dimple on each of the myriads of golf
balls I've lost on that machine!

Well...the 150 gig drive is a superfast unit on which I keep only the
operating system and a few applications.

The 250 gig drive is what I back the 150 gig drive onto, and also work
product from the 500 gig drive.

The 500 gig drive is where I store data and work product.

Each night, my server, a separate machine, runs a backup procedure.

You could pick up some rendering work on the side from
ILM with that machine.

When you swap hardware in and out, do you have to re-certify the
system with Microsoft? If so, how big a hassle is that?

It hasn't happened to me yet, but I keep reading about it. I thought for
sure it would have happened with the CPU swap.

That machine must really fly!

It would, but there usually is a cat sleeping on top of it.

Supplier(s). The monitor was not part of the original 2k, nor was the HP
DVD writer.
