Regardless of your political persuasion, you have to admit that the Democratic candidate selection process is boring and bland compared to the antics on the Republican side. Rudy's ad (response to Huckabee's) has got to be a classic. I don't know if he's serious or if it's a parody. LOL Eisboch Did you see Hillary on the Today Show a couple of days ago? She was unresponsive to their question about Bill's statement that "electing Obama would be rolling the dice". When pressured to answer what that meant, she came unglued! It's no wonder they protect her from the hard questions... she can't handle them. Not the person I want as my President. Obama was next, and he simply blew Hillary out of the water. He's like Bill way back when. He's got his act down... smoooth, baby. It has been a standard practice for Hillary for the last 10 years. She will not, does not answer any questions that are not preselected. She is why the whole "boycott Fox news" thing got started, it was to protect Hillary. BTW, yesterday, Hillary got caught with another plant in the audience asking her if she was a Christian.. Turns out the lady is another Clinton operative. It's just crazy, she can't face a reporter, how is she going to face the pres of Iran??- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Sorry to burst your anti-Democrat bubble, but they ALL use preselected questioning. And they all have plants in the audience if they think for one second they can get away with it. I often wonder how much David Gregory, Helen Thomas, et al, get paid to be plants for Bush. -- John H- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Two casts and no bites... Time to try another bait. |

LOL Eisboch The problem with the whole process, from beginning to end, is that the folks willing to sell out enough and do all the dirty crap required to win either the primary or the general election are *not* the sort of people who should be leading anything, except maybe the inmate's glee club at the appropriate penal institution. Our representative republic isn't all that much different from the parliamentary system the New England colonists rebelled against. Major difference is that our aristocrats have to steal more and much faster because they are subject to recall by the people. Other than that, once in office politicians all behave about the same. Sorry, but neither party has a shred of moral credibility anymore; and the more that each side insists its the One True Political Faith and the other side is a bunch clueless and devious idiots the farther from moral credibility each side moves. |

The Chuck of yore re-emerges! Well said. It's astounding that only one senator was really willing to put his nuts on the line when telecom immunity was about to pass. It's the system. It takes so much money to run a campaign that they have no choice but to align themselves with powerful interests -- who will no doubt extract a price for the support. Broken system that needs to be replaced. |

Seriously. She is so obviously on the edge of a total meltdown that you have to serously wonder if she's qualified to do anything. It's entertaining to watch her keep from exploding. |

Proving she's human. Whomever isn't rattled by the stupdity that passes for reporting (save a few) must be made from a type of rubber compound that supports life. I frequently run across these beings inhabiting American corporations. |

If you ain't got the tools, don't play the game... although I do admit it would be somewhat entertaining to see her head explode Just not in the oval office... |
