Default Myth busted.....

We've all heard the story about the new Bayliner owner that launched
his boat with the trailer still attached.

I've always put that somewhat in the area of an urban myth.

Now, I'm not so sure.....

Was that Lake Lanier in the background? Damn, that lake has lost some
water. This morning's news said Lanier was now at it's lowest since 1981. I
wonder what Global Warming trend caused it to be so low then?

Who told you that the lake level in Lanier is due to global warming,
John?

I thought *any* natural disaster was due to GW(B). Tell me I'm wrong.

I'm worried that Falls Lake in NC is going to dry up. Then I'll have wasted
money on my new boat.

OK, you're wrong.

I'm still wondering who was responsible for the last ice age.

The lake level of Lanier is because of the Army Corps of Engineers and
their unwillingness to quit releasing water downstream. If you look at
lakes here that are operated by the power companies, such as Georgia
Power, they are doing well.

How's the governor doing at getting the law changed so the Corps can do
otherwise. He seems pretty good at getting rain, or was that the mayor?
