![]() Got on the water about 8:30, and it was a little chilly, but really bad, about 45F. Water temp is still 70F. Saw the usual suspects congregating near the close buoy, so I joined them for a while to catch some spot (small baitfish). Got five, got bored, headed across Bay. Called the WayneB Floating RV a few times on channel 16 VHF, but he must have been off playing bingo or whatever it is old farts in big barges do on Sundays. Encountered a couple of smallish blues over by the Choptank River, talked to a few guys on the radio, headed over to the gas docks, where a Brit named gas tanker was offloading. First time I've actually seen a ship doing that at that spot. All the fisherguys on the radio were hoping it would explode (with no loss of life of course) so we could go back to fishing that spot. Some of us got too close (with 500 yards - crikey) and the CG was called. It showed up in about 15 minutes, an RIB with a cabin and a couple of outboards. We all acted very concerned, but since we all had moved and all the boats there were white fiberglass, our protectors were at a loss. So they left, back to protecting us from whatever it they are supposed to be doing out there. Headed over to the nuke plant and just to see if I could get a rise out of the "Blackwater" a**holes guarding it, I snapped a couple of photos with my baby digital. Unfortunately, they were comatose, as usual. Caught two stripers in the plant outwash. One was a keeper. Kept it. Tried Wayne B again, no go. Plenty of reach today on the VHF, too. |

And of course you know when they called the CG, and would not fudge the reaction time either, right?? Anyway, just cause you didn't see them, don't mean they were not there. I mean by your logic, must be that there are no folks out there that want to hurt Americans and our interests, since there is no security... Well, they attacked us several times during the last Administration, and only once in this, guess old GWB really has made us safer and less of a target... by your logic... |
