Why would anyone want to build one of those? Fishermen love em' They add structure to the bottom... But they are not big enough to really provide a good home for the monster fish. Now if you tie together about 10 of them, now that would be some good structure. This coming from Reggie, a guy who brownstains his shorts when other posters here ask about his boat. No it doesn't bother me at all for anyone to ask me any question at all. |

Answer: The right one Unfortunately, the few parkers I have seen with diesels have been I/O's, which I would not touch with a 10' Pole...or Ukrainian. I talked to some folks at the Parker factory about a "straight" diesel, but was told there was really no reason for one now, what with the high horsepower four cycle outboards. This was three or four years ago. Sometime next year Parker will be introducing a new, 34' pilot house with twin 350 hp Yamaha outboards. At that size and weight, it ain't a boat I would want to trailer or operate with outboards. A 600 hp straight diesel with a small keel/prop pocket, though, would be very nice in that boat. |

Answer: The right one How do you know it's the right one? |

I had no idea I had insulted you, what did I say? |

Are you kidding? Does he pretend to have an imaginary boat, Harry? You should know which posts to ignore. Dan |
