Lots of boats out today, and the usual early fall parade of RV trawlers and other barge-type boats panting their way south for the winter. Not us, we're still on LT patrol. There were a ton of boats out fishing off of Kent Island today near the R88 buoy. We were headed east, not south, still looking for foto ops. From Annapolis we took a little excursion up the Wye River and ended up in St Micheals as we close in on the quarry. The bay was nearly flat except for the occasional freighter wake. |
