Just got back from fishing out on the Bay and am cooling off while the

Man, it was H-O-T out there, at least 85F and a bit higher in some
places, with the water temp still in the low to mid 70's. Beautiful day,
1' "rollers," light winds, and a half dozen bluefish came along for
entertainment. Lots of boats out today, and the usual early fall parade
of RV trawlers and other barge-type boats panting their way south for
the winter.
I suppose out in Seattle, the ice boating season has started. :}
Have you ever been out on Puget Sound? Today the temp was in the 60's,
cloudy. Great weather for fishing. For sure it wasn't H-O-T, with the temp
hitting the 90's like it did here.
One thing I never did, after the first time, was go fishing on the Bay on a
weekend. Just too damn many fools out there!
It was crowded, but just about everyone except the snowbirds was a
fisherperson. Hit the buoys for some spot bait, then went over to the
Choptank.
Is there a lot of trolling going on now? I would think that would have
calmed down until the fall.
I'm actually looking forward to getting the new boat out there. I was going
to get rid of my trolling rods, but now I think I'll hang onto them.
The 4Runner arrived. I love the way it drives, and can't believe the
acceleration the damn thing has. Glad I bought it. It did come with the
Michellin tires you mentioned.
