Just got back from fishing out on the Bay and am cooling off while the engine is flushing. Man, it was H-O-T out there, at least 85F and a bit higher in some places, with the water temp still in the low to mid 70's. Beautiful day, 1' "rollers," light winds, and a half dozen bluefish came along for entertainment. Lots of boats out today, and the usual early fall parade of RV trawlers and other barge-type boats panting their way south for the winter. I suppose out in Seattle, the ice boating season has started. :} Have you ever been out on Puget Sound? Today the temp was in the 60's, cloudy. Great weather for fishing. For sure it wasn't H-O-T, with the temp hitting the 90's like it did here. One thing I never did, after the first time, was go fishing on the Bay on a weekend. Just too damn many fools out there! |
