It was a nice day today, and the wind finally died down this afternoon.
I was just down at the marina, emptying out my minnow traps.

What do you use for bait? We used to use bread chunks when I was a
kid but I'm sure that has been replaced by something more hi tech.

Bits of dead crab, if available, otherwise, bits of corn meal balls held
together with peanut butter. Same bait I sometimes used for freshwater
catfish. It works. I put out two minnow traps last night, and have at
least 50 usable minnows today...and about 100 more that were too small.

Ah - the joys of minnow traps.

I have a friend who uses blood bait for catfish.

Get's some monster golden minnows on that bait.
