Mercruiser Upper Outdrive Seal leaking drive oil
wrote in message oups.com... I have a Mercruiser Alpha II outdrive. Its leaking drive oil from the seal between the upper and the gimbal housing. I've tightened all the nylox nuts. The leak is pretty slow. I lose about a quarter cup after 6hrs of trolling. I just had these seals replaced and it still leaks. The leak is only from the left side of the upper.
