Default So here's the deal...

Based on my experiments yesterday, I've come up with a couple of ideas
about easily portable and stored retrieval devices for MOBs.

I plan on building several prototypes of several types and would
appreciate some alpha testing if anybody is interested.

A non-disclosure form will be required for any alpha testers. There
will be financial considerations for any alpha/beta testers as the
project progresses.

Anybody interested can email me at r e t r i e v a l at the usual
address. The address will be active this evening.

There are a few posters here I am willing to sacrifice to the cause...

On a more positive note, I'll play. You know where to find me.

What's a MOB?

1. a disorderly or riotous crowd of people.
2. a crowd bent on or engaged in lawless violence.
3. any group or collection of persons or things.
4. the common people; the masses; populace or multitude.
5. a criminal gang, esp. one involved in drug trafficking, extortion,
etc.
6. the Mob, Mafia (def. 1).
7. Sociology. a group of persons stimulating one another to excitement
and losing ordinary rational control over their activity.
8. a flock, herd, or drove of animals: a mob of sheep.
– of, pertaining to, or characteristic of a lawless, irrational,
disorderly, or riotous crowd: mob rule; mob instincts.
10. directed at or reflecting the lowest intellectual level of the
common people: mob appeal; the mob mentality.
11 - to crowd around noisily, as from curiosity or hostility:
Spectators mobbed the courtroom.
12. to attack in a riotous mob: The crowd mobbed the consulate.
13. Fox Hunting. to chop (a fox).

Or it could mean Man Over Board. :)

Tom, to make it so much simpler, bow about a cross-bow with a barbed
eyelet dart with a nylon rope attached. Might not do the M.O.B any
good, (especially with a head/chest shot) but guarenteed retrieval
results...

Ahhh, an engineering project, I am in, and so of course is my boat if
you need a second during testing, or one to bolt stuff to
Are you talking a mounted solution, or a wearable solution??
