I have a 6.6 gallon Quicksilver plastic gas can. It was included in a
new boat purchase back in 1996. There are two caps in the top of the tank. One is the screw-on fill cap of course, and the other is a screw on cap that houses the pick-up tube (for the gas hose connection) with a screen filter at its end near the bottom of the tank, and fuel level gage (to show the fuel level in the tank). The clear plastic sight glass on the fuel level gage is fogged over. It was mistakenly cleaned with a chemical cleaner that fogged the plastic. Does Quicksilver have a website where I could order a replacement cap with the pickup hose/screen filter and fuel gage, or is there a site that handles Quicksilver gas cans that I could contact? Thanks! Mac |
