The bullet weight and design, amount of powder, type of powder, primer used, and tweaks to the gun itself all affect accuracy. The only way to judge what specific load is the most accurate is to take all other variables out of the equation. A table rest is quite effective at calming things down, but there's still differences in how accurate one can be even while using a rest. Besides, a .50 caliber is very heavy... heavier than a bag of groceries. You may not be able to hit the side of a barn free-handing one. |
