I can tell you that an offer of $2 million was turned down by the owners of a gas pipeline company for an unused offshore LNG pumping station. You wouldn't believe what the last developer offered us for our farm. And he was willing to pay the tax penalties and capital gains taxes which, to date, would come to roughly $7 million on top of what he wanted to pay for the property. Supposedly, cash to boot. |
