My old dentist up north charters one out of Chatham on the Cape for striper fishing. It seems ideal for fishing, although it has the engine doghouse in the cockpit. (His has the Perkins diesel). The boat seems to sit heavy towards the bow though ... he had a problem with the bilge pump and all the water was running forward. I also noticed that yesterday, after some rain, that his cockpit had a bit of standing water in it. The way the boat sits it doesn't seem to naturally run off through the scuppers. Maybe he just has a lot of stuff stored up in the cabin area. Eisboch |
